Before working with Jay, I was lacking motivation, structure, and the balance between strength, conditioning, and nutrition, but Jay brought all of that and more. Today was a huge day guys - just ran the Barcelona marathon in a 3.46!! Despite it being like the Sahara, took 12 mins off my PB and my training plan has all been RunThat!! 1 x Full Send 1 x Tempo 1 x Lower Body and then a long run each week. Honestly f*** loved it so huge shout out to the RT team. Now time for some cervezaaaaa. Get it done all!
We feel so happy that we've come so far since summer & have finished on speeds which we thought laughable at first. Our mental health has also improved so much since doing these. We always say that if more people did these runthat runs (easier said than done I guess) then the world would be a better place!
After feeling lost post-marathon and unsure how to stay consistent with my training, I started working with Jay, and I haven't looked back. His no-nonsense approach has completely transformed how I train. I've improved my lifting technique to pushing my running further than I thought possible! SO! half marathon completed at the weekend, I was hoping for anything around 2 hours but was expecting more like 2:10/2:15 and ended up with 1:44!! Absolutely buzzing my tits off; big thanks to Jay & RUNTHAT for creating these runs that have helped me build my endurance capabilities as well as discover some absolute killer tracks to get through the KMs!
